HIGH SCHOOL: Wheeler prepped at West Valley High in Yakima, Wash., where she was a state and relay champion as a junior in 2004. Though a shoulder injury forced her to miss her senior season, she still finished her prep career as a 12-time district champion ... A senior national qualifier and two-time All-American, she was a two-time 2004 Junior National winner, has won three junior national titles overall and competed in the 100m back at the 2004 Olympic Trials ...
